Man Accused of Killing Two Weleetka Girls Granted Continuance

WELEETKA, OK--The families of two little girls, gunned down and killed in Weleetka Oklahoma, will have to wait a little longer for justice.

The judge in the case just issued a continuance in the case of Kevin Sweat. He won't go to court again until April 23rd, while the prosecution and the defense wait on a report to be completed.

Sweat was arrested back in December for the 2008 deaths of 11 year old Skyla Whitaker and 13 year old Taylor Placker.

According to an affidavit, Sweat told an investigator he saw "two monsters come at him" and fired at them with .40 caliber and .22-caliber handgun.
