SHERMAN, TX -- Students in Sherman ISD might be changing their wardrobe to go to class, though the issue is still up for debate. The idea of a school dress code is being tossed around in the school board and is now accepting feedback from the community.
"It was talked about at the school board meeting on Monday night, and what the discussion was, is over forming a committee to look at ways to gather additional feedback." - Dr. Tyson Bennett, Sherman ISD Assistant Superintendent.
The dress code, as so far has been discussed, is less of a uniform and more just standardized guidelines for apparel. Different kinds of polo's and khaki pants are among the ideas being considered, but details of the change will not be established until they receive more input from the community.
