Weather Radio Drive

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX --When a storm cloud comes your way and you lose power, a weather radio can help you stay informed.

It's a very important device to have. That's why 107.3 DOC FM and Meals on Wheels are teaming up this month to collect as much money and weather radios as possible. Then they'll purchase the radios and distribute them to Meals on Wheels clients.

"A lot of our clients are on a fixed income  or low income and they don't have a land line phone. For those clients, this is critical because weather radio is the only way they can reliably be informed of an impending disaster," says Greg Pittman, Executive Director of Meals on Wheels.

If you'd like to help, there are 13 drop-off locations. Click the link below for more information.
