SHERMAN, TX -- Police are looking for whoever made off with a bundle of copper in Sherman over the weekend. It happened on the 800 block of Walnut. Police say the amount of copper actually stolen was probably only around 50 dollars, but the theft is still a "State Jail Felony" and is punishable by up to 2 years in prison.
With the cost of copper up around $3.80/lb thieves turn around and sell it nearly right away.
