Chickasaw Nation Unveils Panola Senior Center in Colbert

COLBERT, OK--Whether they are looking for a bite to eat or venue to socialize, there's a new senior center in Colbert, Oklahoma. Thanks to the Chickasaw Nation, the Panola Senior Center is ready to serve its citizens.

A ribbon cutting was held Friday morning. The 4,850 square foot facility is located off of Highway 75 in Colbert, Oklahoma.

"There's a kitchen and a computer room and activities room and oversized room," Bill Anoatubby said, Chickasaw Nation Governor. "It's very special. The reason it's special is that we're serving people that are special."

Seniors can stop by for breakfast or lunch Monday through Friday. The original senior center in Colbert will remain open.
