The past two weeks have been very hard for me. Like I said before, my schedule is so messed up with work, I've had a hard time keeping up with my work outs. I don't know that I'll make it to class tomorrow because of live shots scheduled for our Feeding Families Food Drive (in Ardmore at the UPS Store if you want to come by and make a donation).
Tonight at the Durant Christmas Parade Salita's Mexican Restaurant was SCREAMING my name... but... I DID NOT give in. I came back to the office and ate my baked chicken with steamed veggies. But, we are just a few weeks away from seeing who is Texoma's Biggest Loser... so I will keep going.
I've met so many people who say they've also changed their habits and lifestyles to go along with what Kris and I are doing and that's what makes this so worth it. To know that we are making a difference. You don't know how good that makes us all feel. Keep it up! You are my motivation to keep going too!!! I won't quit if you won't!
I saw Earl Kennedy this evening. I profiled him a few months ago because he went from 913 pounds down to 400 something pounds. He's tried to get onto NBC's Biggest Loser but has had some health issues. But, tonight he told me he has been invited to be in the audience next Tuesday night for NBC's Biggest Loser Finale!!! So cool! So help me in congratulating Earl in all that he's done. He truly has been an inspiration to me in all of this too.
Tune in next Tuesday folks. Until then --- walk more, jog a little, and keep eating healthy!
