OAKRIDGE, TX--A man was taken to the hospital after a home explosion in Oakridge Friday morning. According to the Cook County Sheriff's Office, it happened around 11:00 AM.
Oakridge, Gainesville and Callisburg crews responded to the explosion on the 8000 block of East Highway 82. Highway troopers and Cook County deputies assisted at the scene.
Authorities believe gas may be to blame. The cause is under investigation.
The victim was taken to Parkland Hospital. His condition has not been released at this time.
