Got to thinking today about the excuse "But, I can't afford to go the gym." Well, how about crunching these numbers......
The average fast food drive-thru will run you anywhere from $5 to $7 a pop. If you do that for lunch every week day that's $25 to $35 dollars a week. A gym membership might cost you $50 a month. SO, if you give up the drive-thru you CAN afford the gym and still have money and lots of calories left over. Just a thought.... try it for one month and see if it works for you. :)
I also have this app on my phone for the South Beach Diet -- good tips for healthy foods and lifestyle changes to make -- I found this today --
When Is The Best Time To Exercise?
"The answer is not as black-and-white as you might think. Current research suggests that slightly more fat is burned when a person exercises directly following the overnight fast. However, exercise can usually be performed at a higher intensity in the late afternoon when the body's temperature and hormone levels peak and muscles are more flexible."
