CHOCTAW COUNTY, OK -- A family is mourning the death of a Boswell teen. 14-year-old Zachery Pebsworth died Friday at Children's Hospital in Dallas from serious injuries sustained in an accident last week.
It happened back on October 29th around 8:43 PM, south of Boswell on State Highway 109 in Choctaw County.
According to Oklahoma Troopers, two vehicles were southbound on the road when one attempted to pass the other. The first vehicle ran off the roadway, then over corrected and hit the second vehicle. The second car rolled twice.
Pebsworth was in the passenger seat. He was ejected an unknown distance.
Both drivers were 16-years-old. They're listed in serious condition. The other passenger in the second vehicle is reportedly in stable condition.
