Day 4 - Biggest Loser


Lisanne wrote yesterday about hitting a low... Where you lose energy, and all you can think about is going to sleep.  Well...  I've hit that point today.  I woke up and all I could think about was going back to sleep.  But, alas, I pulled my sore bones out of bed and worked on my cardio training. (I really DESPISE cardio!)

I've read that when you change your diet as abruptly as we have, you go through a transformation.  Where your body has to adjust from burning the excess carbs and sugars that you injest to burning fat and using the protein intake for fuel.  Which is a good thing.  The fat burning is where you get optimum results.

Needless to day... Today was rough, tomorrow is a new day.  Last strength training and into the weekend.  Which I fear may be tougher on the diet than being on the run every day.  Especially when the kids want to hit the State Fair.  No fried frito pie for me! (sigh)

Menu for today:

Breakfast - Oatmeal

After Cardio - Protein Shake - Banana

Mid morning snack - 2 apples

Lunch - 2 chicken breasts, steamed broccoli, green beans

Mid afternoon - 2 hard boiled eggs, no yolk

Dinner - 2 chicken breasts, steamed broccoli, sliced cucumbers
