I'm learning why I gained 30 pounds in 3 years (3 years my alarm went off at 2am).
Lack of SLEEP!! and Junk FOOD!
I don't eat enough healthy foods at the correct times of the day. And I don't get enough sleep. According to www.getTFPfit.com I'm supposed to be eating 5 times a day (3 meals, 2 snacks) AND getting 6 to 8 hours of sleep every night. Sleep is very important, especially for women and managing hormones and managing stress.
So.. ladies -- GET SOME SLEEP!! and Here's a 5 Meals a Day Sample to shoot for:
7:00am
4 egg whites or whites of a hard boiled egg w/ salsa and 1 piece of ezekial bread or 1/2 cup of oats
10:00am
1 protein bar
1:00pm
chicken breast chopped in a pita with lettuce, tomato, & 1 tsp dijon mustard, 10 baby carrots, water
4:00pm
1 scoop of protein, 1 apple
6:30pm
Grilled chicken/fish, pork and 1 cup of green veggies
