Lawsuit Filed After Gas Explosion in Caney, OK

CANEY, OK -- A lawsuit has been filed after a man was severely burned from a gas explosion at a bar in Caney, OK.

Attorneys for the family of 32 year old Daniel Carmen have filed a suit against Henson's Propane and Equipment Company, along with several other companies, after Bill Dog's Saloon exploded on Sunday, June 5th.

Carmen was reportedly in the back room of the bar. Authorities say Carmen lit a cigarette around 7:30 a.m. Then, the building exploded.

More than 78 percent of his body was severely burned. He lost his ears, nose, and surgeons have partially amputated one of his feet.
