PONTOTOC COUNTY--A vehicle accident in Pontotoc County leaves two teens dead.
Just after 8:00 AM, two vehicles collided on State Highway 1, just a mile west of Allen Oklahoma.
A Ford Mustang was traveling eastbound when it went over the center lane and continued driving on the wrong side of the road. An oncoming semi swerved to the left lane to avoid the car. However, the mustang returned to the correct lane.
The vehicles collided, pinning the driver and passenger of the car for nearly two hours.
OHP troopers say the semi driver survived. The mustang driver, 17-year-old Cody Adams of McAlester Oklahoma, was pronounced dead at the scene due to massive injuries. 16-year-old Douglas Robins of Savanna Oklahoma was in the car with Adams. He also was pronounced dead at the scene.
