SHERMAN, TEXAS -- An update to an accident involving a public transportation bus in Sherman that sent 4 people to the hospital. 
     The driver of the TAPS bus, 64-year-old George Cosper has been suspended pending further investigation.No charges have been filed against him.
     The crash happened at the intersection of Highway 75 and Park Street. Police, say Cosper ran a stop sign, smashing into a Ford Ranger and seriously injuring 33-year-old Nolan Bridges from Sherman.
     Cosper has been with the company for two years and is a retired Plano Police Officer with 30 years of experience.
     Bridges, the driver of the Ford Ranger, was flown Parkland Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
     Three passengers on the bus were taken to an area hospital with non life threatening injuries.
