Eleven State Questions Dominate the Oklahoma Ballot

OKLAHOMA--State Question 744 is just one of eleven state questions on the Oklahoma ballot next week--which means voters should expect to spend more time in the voting booth.

When you head to the polls you'll be handed a two sided ballot.

One side will have all of the state and local races while the other side will have eleven state questions--each a paragraph long.

Election Board officials say looking over the questions before the election will save you time.

"If you have not looked at the questions, which I think the papers are running each week samples of them, we are giving away samples for people to read, but if nobody has seen them and they go into vote it's going to take a while to read," said Helen McReynolds, from the Carter County Election Board. Early voting opens Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at your local election board office.
