Suspects Confess to Fort Washita Fire

BRYAN COUNTY--Flames that lit up the early morning sky, and in turn, created an out-pouring of history buffs.. and just people who grew up around here.. wanting to know.. how it the world.. It could have happened.

Warrants have been put out for at least two people for the Fort Washita fire on Sunday September 26th.

We just checked with the Bryan County Jail, and were told no one had been officially booked in yet.

Investigators have said it appears to be a case of arson.

Thursday night in Madill, community leaders and citizens are meeting to put together a fund raiser to rebuild the old Fort Washita Barracks.
