Fugitive Found in Oklahoma City

Posted: Updated:

CARTER COUNTY, OK-- Months of investigation, now a Texoma fugitive is back behind bars.  Dylan Jamall Knight, also known as Dylan Roberson, was arrested over the weekend at a home in Oklahoma City.

He'd been considered an armed fugitive since back in June when he failed to show up for the sentencing phase of his trial at the Carter County courthouse for trafficking crack cocaine.

District Attorney Craig Ladd says he's glad he's back behind bars.

"We're very relieved he's been apprehended. I believe he's in Oklahoma County right now. I spoke to one of the deputies this morning (Monday) from the sheriff's department. They're going to try to transport him down here to Ardmore this week, hopefully tomorrow and once that happens we'll get a sentencing date in front of Judge Card so that he can be formally sentenced."

Ladd also said Knight could be facing additional charges, "He's looking at bail jumping charges here in Carter County. In addition to that, it's my understanding that he is also being accused of certain crimes in Oklahoma County as well."

In the June trial, the jury recommended a sentence of life in prison without parole.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office told us, Monday, that Knight is facing several new charges including another trafficking illegal drugs, possessing drug money and fire arms.

Right now, he remains in the Oklahoma County jail with two separate holds from the US Marshall's and Carter County Sheriff's Office.

His bond was set at $94,000.
