New Business May Come to North Texas Regional Airport

Posted:

DENISON, TX--A new business may be coming to Texoma, which could mean more revenue for the local economy.

Officials hoped to make the big announcement today, but they're waiting on a few details before anything is finalized. They're hoping a fortune 500 company will open it's doors at the North Texas Regional Airport.

Grayson County Judge Drue Bynum says that past businesses have done well in the area.

"L-3 Communications was one of the first businesses that we were able to land here a couple years ago and that continues to go extremely well. We have a couple more businesses on the horizon," Drue Bynum said, Grayson County Judge. "We're hoping we can announce one today, but we're still waiting on some finalization paperwork. So we're going to continue to market the airport hard."

The airport will know within a month if it has to make room for a new neighbor.
