Hannah's Horseshoes of Hope Volunteer Training Session Dates Set

Hannah's equine-assisted therapeutic riding center will be holding volunteer training sessions on Saturday, August 28th starting at 9:00 a.m. and Thursday, September 2 beginning at 6:30 p.m.

What types of volunteers are needed?
Program Volunteers – These volunteers work with our student clients during our therapy sessions. Activities could include assist in the preparation of a class, groom and tack horses prior to class, work as a sidewalker or leader. You'll be trained for all these activities!
Schooler – Hannah's schooling program ensures that the horses stay fit, agile and happy and ready to do their work as therapy horses. To be a ‘schooler' you need to be at least 16 years of age and be an experienced horse person.

Special Talents? – Being involved with the ‘horse' part of this therapy program is just way you can help. You can also work on the marketing programs for the organization or help the Farm Manager with facility maintenance. Or perhaps you're a photographer and can help the program using those skills. Hannah's encourages you to discuss your special talents with them and find out how you can help.

Volunteer Groups – Hannah's appreciates the volunteer groups that help them throughout the year. If you would like to find out more about how your group, club or association can get involved, please call Lisbeth at 903.965.9300 or email at lisbethe@mac.com.

Call Lisbeth at 903.965.9300 to sign up, or for additional details or go to www.hannahshorseshoesofhope.org to download the volunteer application and find out more about this non-profit organization.
