TEXOMA - Looking for a companion? Here's your "Pets of the Week!"

Ardmore Animal Shelter

Come adopt Surely! Surely was named because the shelter staff thought that surely the owner would come reclaim her, but sadly no one ever did. Surely is a 10-month-old, Manchester Terrier type dog. She is great with other animals and incredible with children. She will walk on a leash, follow you off leash, and play fetch. She loves to ride in the car and is most often seen sitting on the Animal Shelter director's desk taking naps. Do you need a new friend? Does your current pet need a playmate? If so, come by Ardmore Animal Care Animal Shelter to adopt Surely or one of her friends. Give us a call at 580-223-7070, before it is too late. Don't forget, ALL adoptions are ½ price through the month of August! http://www.ardmoreanimalshelter.org/

Morton Street Animal Hospital

There's a new puppy up for adoption at the Morton Street Animal Hospital - a nine-month-old, female heeler mix. She was brought in by a good Samaritan who found a liter of puppies under a house. Shelter officials believe she's had very little human interaction but would make a great pet in a loving home. Call 903-465-1055 or stop by the shelter. http://www.animalhospitalofdenison.com/Templates/Clean.aspx
