Texas US Representative Visits Grayson County Tea Party

Posted: Updated:

SHERMAN, TX--The national holiday brought a Texoma political group together. The Grayson County Tea Party held a Fourth of July picnic celebration at the County Courthouse.

A prayer was given followed by the pledge of allegiance and national anthem. Texas US Representative Ralph Hall was a guest speaker.

"July the Fourth is what lost us on our freedom you know," Hall said. "It's something that you have to think back and appreciate to get together because that's one thing that America can get together on."

Representative Hall says that for every one percent unemployment is lowered, more than $120 billion dollars can be put back into the economy.

"If people have jobs they can pay this ungodly debt that's been thrust upon them and their children."
