PET OF THE WEEK - KTEN News Today featured two loveable animals up for adoption in Texoma this week - a Chihuahua in Denison, and a lab in Ardmore.

A white and brown Chihuahua is one of the latest animals to be rescued by the Morton Street Animal Hospital in Denison. The 6-month-old dog has a brother. He's had his first round of shots, been flea-dipped, de-wormed and ready for a loving home. Contact the Morton Street Animal Hospital if you are interested (903) 465-4714.

Fredric's tail is always wagging. When he gets really excited, his entire body wags!  Fredric is a 2 year old, neutered male, Labrador Retriever.  Fredric gets along great with other pets and he adores children.  Fredric will walk on a leash, follow you off leash, and play fetch for hours.  Fredric knows many commands.  In fact, he will sit, lie down, and roll over on command.  Fredric loves everyone and everyone loves him.  It is impossible to be with him and not smile.  Although he prefers to be in your lap, he is content with lying at your feet.  Please give this incredible dog a second chance at a loving home.  Save a life and adopt an unwanted pet from Ardmore Animal Care Animal Shelter at 321 Carol Brown Blvd or give one of the shelter team members a call at 580-223-7070.  Fredric is waiting!
