Holiday Light Donations Drop

GRAYSON CO., TX -- The holiday lights display at Loy Park in Grayson County needs your help.   Organizers of the annual holiday tradition say they're about $2,000 behind on donations.

That's a problem because the light display operates solely on donations.  Grayson County Precinct 2 Commissioner David Whitlock said, "it helps to keep it going.  And it'll help it grow every year.  If we can keep bringing money in and add to it then that's what we'll do.  There's even talk about making it bigger for next year and making the route a little longer."  If you go see the light display, they take donations at several different spots throughout the park.  Just look for one of the dozens of volunteers who are out there each night.  Or, you can even drop your donations off during the day at the Frontier Village office near the entrance to Loy park.
