Grayson Co. Holiday Lights Display In Need of Donations

Posted:

GRAYSON CO., TX - The holiday lights display at Loy Park in Grayson County needs your help.

Organizers of the annual holiday tradition say they're about $2,000 behind on donations, and that's a problem because the light display operates solely on donations.

"It helps to keep it going," said David Whitlock, Grayson County Commissioner. "If we can keep bringing money in and add it then that's what we'll do. There's even talk about making it bigger for next year and making the route a little longer."

The lights display takes donations at several different spots throughout the park. Just look for one of the dozens of volunteers who are out there each night. Or you can drop off donations during the day at the Frontier Village Office near the entrance to Loy Park.
