NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - A highly touted guard from Denison, Texas, is signing with the Oklahoma Sooners. OU head coach Jeff Capel says T.J. Taylor, a 6-foot-3, 205-pound guard, signed a letter of intent with the Sooners on Wednesday, the first day of an early signing period for college basketball.
Taylor averaged 27 points, 5 assists and 3 steals per game last year as a junior. Capel says he is a strong left-hander who can play both guard positions.
Sherman star Cameron Clark is scheduled to sign his national letter of intent for Oklahoma on Saturday.
