Preview of Ardmore Town Hall Meeting

ARDMORE, OK -- The issue of healthcare in America was a major debate in the town hall meeting in the Ardmore earlier today.

More than 600 people crowded in the Convention Center to discuss concerns they feel are facing the nation.

Congressman Tom Cole addressed the crowd with three key points he felt were significant to those who came: healthcare, foreign policy, and the American value system.

This issue of the value system in America hit home with many, and overall folks in Ardmore their voice to be heard.

Cole says he doesn't agree with President Obama's proposed health care plan, but thinks amendments should be made to the nation's current system.

In the meantime, Cole says he would like to do more town hall meetings in the future, because he feels people have the best opportunity to have their voice heard.
