Fatal Accident In Johnston County


Johnston County now, and the search for a hit-and-run driver, who may have caused a
fatal accident.

It happened around 11:30 a.m., southeast of Tishomingo on Highway 22. Two people in a Jeep had to be flown to OU Medical Center. The driver, Deborah Louise Cody, of Tishomingo, in serious condition. But, Rebecca Jones was last listed in critical condition. She was thrown almost 150 feet.

A second passenger, 73-year-old Marjorie Cody, was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to troopers, an unknown vehicle -- possibly a white four door vehicle -- went left of center and caused the Jeep to swerve and roll. 

Troopers still haven't found that other vehicle.
