Local Theatre Survives Recession

Posted:

Even though many businesses are closing up shop in the down economy, one local theatre is surviving.  The theatre is helping relieve stress, allowing the audience to escape from day to day life.  Entertainment, specifically film is a business that survived the great depression and the trend is continuing through the recession.

Now, one local theatre is adding a perk to their entertainment providing a three course meal and complimentary wine throughout the play.  The servers will provide a different course in between each act.  Tickets to a bench in the sun are $35 a person and tickets will not be sold at the door.

If you are interested in the play and want to purchase a ticket you can call Mrs. Schweitzer at 903-893-7652.  Visa and Master Card are accepted.

The preformances will be held at Honey McGee Playhouse in Sherman, Texas.  Show times are offered on Friday and Saturday evenings, July 31, August 1, 7 and 8 and Sunday afternoons August 2 and 9.  The shows begin at 6:30 p.m. And 12:30 for matinees.
