Capt. Sullenberger Addresses Denison Graduates

It was all the buzz this weekend in Texoma. Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger returned to his hometown of Denison.

Signs, cheers and hundreds of people gathered to get a glimpse of Sullenberger, the pilot who safely landed flight 1549 in the Hudson River last January.

Gov. Rick Perry, Congressman Ralph Hall and a slew of other local dignitaries were on hand for the event.

The humble hero kept his remarks at the parade brief, but Saturday night he was the guest speaker at Denison's commencment and had a big message for the class of 2009.

Capt. Sullenberger also told the graduates about his upbringing in Denison and encouraged them to pursue something they were passionate about.
