From Ardmore PD Press Release:

On Thursday, June 4, 2009, at approximately 10:15pm, a man walked into the ProMart #5 in the 2500 block of Northwest Veterans Blvd. and robbed the business at gunpoint.

No shots were fired and nobody was injured during the ordeal. The individual escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect is described as a male, approximately six feet two inches tall, possibly with red hair.

Store employees said the robber was wearing a black ski mask, making a more specific description difficult to provide. The suspect was dressed in blue jeans and a blue shirt. He displayed a silver semi-automatic pistol and demanded money upon entering the business. The cashier complied, and handed over money from the cash register. Eyewitnesses stated the suspect fled the scene in a silver car of some kind with dark tinted windows.

They were unable to provide a more detailed description of the getaway vehicle. The suspect is believed to have gotten into the passenger side of the car and was driven away by an accomplice.

The vehicle was last seen headed westbound on Veterans Blvd. No surveillance video of the robbery exists. At this time, the identity of the suspects is unknown.
