Daily Reports

May 15th 2009

1. Officers took a Vandalism report in the 600 block of W. Finley St.

2. Officers arrested a 22-year old Hugo man in the area of 'J' and Dalton St. for Operating a Motor Vehicle While License Revoked.

May 16th 2009

1. Officers arrested a 16-year old Hugo boy in the area of 'D' and Bissell St. for Failure to Signal Intention to Turn. The boy advised the officer that he would not sign a citation for said offense. The officer advised the boy that he would be arrested if he did not sign the citation, to which the boy said , "Fine, let's go to jail". He was then arrested.

2. Officers arrested six (6) individuals at an eastside retail store for Knowingly Concealing Stolen Property, Larceny and Conspiracy to Commit a Felony. The charges stem from the subjects entering six (6) area businesses, stealing merchandise then concealing it in the vehicle they were driving. person arrested were a 16-year old Powderly, TX girl, the 36-year old mother to the 16-year old who is also from Powderly, TX, a 19-year old Powderly,TX man, a 20-year old Magnolia, AR man, a 19-year old Waldo, AR woman and a 20-year old Emerson, AR man.

3. Officers arrested a 46-y ear old Hugo man in the 400 block of East Duke St. for Domestic Assault and Battery in the Presence of a Minor Child.

4. Officers arrested a 40-year old Hugo man in the 800 block of S. Yerby St. for Possession of CDS(Meth) with Intent to Distribute and Public Intoxication.

May 17th 2009

1. Officers investigated an apparent suicide on Duke St.

May 18th 2009

1. Officers took a Vandalism report at an East Jackson St. business. Someone shattered a window with an unknown object.

2. Officers took a Larceny report in the 700 block of South Dewitt St. The 9-year old victim advised that a neighbor had observed a teenage black male steal his bicycle. The bicycle was a blue and silver Mongoose.

May 19th 2009

1. Officers took a report at an eastside apartment complex concerning possible Domestic Assault and Battery.
