Hugo Police Department Daily Reports for 5/1/2009

Daily Report

April 30th 2009

1. Officers were dispatched to a business in the 1400 block of E. Jackson St. in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival officers were advised that an ex-employee had entered the premises and began yelling and cursing about her last paycheck. The suspect fled the scene when police were called.

2. Officers arrested a 38-year old Choctaw County man in the area of S. 'F' and Bissell St. for Public Intoxication and Obstruction.

3. Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of W. Sterrett St. in reference to a stolen van. Officers located the van while enroute to the scene and contacted the owner to come to their location and take possession of his vehicle.

Officers with the Hugo Police Department responded to 1,104 calls for service from January 1st 2009 to April 30th 2009. 403 reports were taken and 49 accidents were investigated.
