WIND ADVISORY LATE TUESDAY EVENING THROUGH LUNCHTIME WEDNESDAY... WIND GUSTS OF 40+ MPH WILL LEAD TO EXTREME FIRE DANGER AND DIFFICULT DRIVING CONDITIONS.
Tuesday... Another sunny, warm, and very breezy day in store! High temps will soar to the upper 70s to low 80s this afternoon under mostly sunny skies. S to SW winds increasing to 15-20 mph will lead to very high fire danger. A strong cold front will enter NW Texoma this evening and push through the Denison-Sherman area by approx. 10 PM... powerful north winds of 25-35 mph with 40+ mph gusts will be common overnight through lunchtime Wednesday.
Looking Ahead... Fire danger will continue to be extreme Tuesday night through Wednesday behind the cold front... a much cooler day on Wednesday as well with highs only in the mid 50s and those strong north winds making it feel much chillier than that. Temps will rebound to the low 60s by late week.
