Mr. Lynch did not have a suspect at the time of the report, however after talking with some employees he was advised that a employee may have pawned them at E-Z Pawn in Durant. Mr. Lynch called me and advised of what he had been informed. I at this time called E-Z Pawn and spoke to the manager Brad Kellam, who advised that Mr. Lynch's employee did pawn two Stihl chain saws on 10-27-08. He advised that the model numbers were MS260, and MS250, he also advised that the employee had called and stated that he was coming to get the saws on the following morning. Injury accident involving a child walking

On 11-15-8 at 1200 a car that was traveling north bound on 1st street at Mulberry struck an 8 year old boy.  The boy was crossing 1st street and not using the crosswalk.  The boy went in between two stopped vehicles that were stopped facing south bound on 1st Street.  He ran in front of the north bound car that had a green light. Domestic abuse

On 11-16-08 at about 1231 hours, I (Ptl. Bryan R. Moore) was dispatched to 4XX W. Pine St. in reference to a domestic assault. Upon my arrival I made contact with Dustin Frank who was standing in the door way of 4xx W. Pine. I asked Frank what had happened and he stated that he and his girlfriend whom he lives with had got into an argument and that was all. Frank also stated that his girlfriend had just bonded him out of jail and that she didn't bond him out quick enough. I then told Frank that I needed to speak with his girlfriend to make sure everything was ok. Frank then walked inside of the residence and then came back out with his girlfriend. The woman identified herself as Heather Sudano. I could see that Sudano had a bleeding scratch that was approximately 2 inches in length on the left side of her face. I asked Sudano what had happened and she stated that she had fell. As she was speaking I could see approximately four fresh scratches on the right side of her neck that appeared to be from a hand. I then asked Sudano about the scratches on her neck and she began crying and stated "Please Don't Take Him to Jail! I just bonded him out." Sudano then stated that Frank had scratched her. I then placed Frank in double locked handcuffs behind his back and placed him in an upright seated position in the patrol car. I transported Frank to the Bryan County Jail without incident. While at the Jail, Frank stated to a jailer that he had been out having fun the night before and his girlfriend had gotten mad at him today and tried to beat him up and he couldn't let that happen and that is why he was back at the jail. The jailer advised that Frank had bonded out of jail at approximately 1l40 hours on 11-16-08.

Petit larceny

On 11-16-08 at approximately 1641 hours I, Ptl. Drew Hale, was dispatched to 24XX W. Main St. (Big Lots) in reference to a theft. Upon arrival I spoke to Jackie Mcgehee who stated the following:

On this date at about 1620 hours she parked her 2005 Ford Explorer with OK tag BDT-761 in the parking lot at Big Lots. She went inside and came out about 15 minutes later. She was met by Stephanie Manker who told her someone had stolen the license plate off of her vehicle. She went to the back of her vehicle and noticed the tag was missing. She called the police.

I spoke with Gary and Stephanie Manker who advised the following: On this date they were parked in the Big Lots parking lot. A black Toyota car pulled up and a white male got out. The white male was approximately 40 years old with a white beard. The male went to the rear of Jackie Mcgehee's vehicle and took the license plate off. The male then got back into his vehicle and drove away.

I observed the missing license plate off of the back of Jackie Mcgehee's vehicle. I advised Jackie Mcgehee that a copy of this report would be on file at the Durant Police Department.

Warrant service

On 11-16-08 at about 1955 hours I, Ptl. Drew Hale, initiated a traffic stop on a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero with OK tag BZB-538 for speeding. I approached the drivers side window and asked the driver, later identified as Lauren Addis, if I could see her license and insurance.

Lauren Addis handed me her license and I had dispatch check the status of her license. Dispatch advised me that Lauren Addis had three outstanding warrants. I advised Lauren Addis of the warrants.

Lauren Addis had two small children with her. She was allowed to call her parents and have them pick up her vehicle and children.

Lauren Addis was placed in double-locked handcuffs behind her back. She was seated in the back seat of my patrol car and transported to the Bryan County Jail where she was served with copies of her warrants.

DUI and public intoxication

On 11-15-08 at about 0130 hours I (Ptl. Justin Blackshear) initiated a traffic stop on a red 1994 Ford Mustang with Oklahoma tag # BTS-585, at the intersection of University Blvd. and N. 6th Ave. for an improper turn.  I made contact with the driver and identified him as Tommy Trantham.  I also made contact with the passenger and identified her as Misty Delozier.  Upon further investigation of the traffic stop I arrested Mr. Trantham for DUI.  After I placed Mr. Trantham in my patrol vehicle.  I observed Ms. Delozier's condition and noticed that she had a slurred speech, had red bloodshot watery eyes and had a strong odor associated with an alcoholic beverage.  I asked Mrs. Delozier if she has had anything to drink with alcohol in it.  She stated "Hell ya I'm drunk son".  I placed Mrs. Delozier in double locked handcuffs behind her back and placed her in the back seat of my patrol vehicle with Mr. Trantham.  I then transported them both to the Bryan County Jail without incident.

Warrant service

On 11-15-08 at about 0330 hours I (Ptl. Justin Blackshear) came in contact with a female subject walking south bound in the 600 block of N. 11th Ave.  I identified the female subject as Sheena Neese.  Ms. Neese advised she had been fighting with her boyfriend and decided to walk to her grandmother's house. I checked to see if Ms. Neese had any outstanding warrants for her arrest. Dispatch confirmed that Ms. Neese had an outstanding warrant through the city of Durant. I informed Ms. Neese about the warrant and placed her in double lock handcuffs.  I placed her in the back seat of my patrol car and transported her to the Bryan County Jail.  At the jail I with her copy of the warrant without incident.

Public intoxication and minor in possession of alcohol

On 11-16-08 at about 0010 hours I (Ptl. Justin Blackshear) made contact with three subjects walking southbound in the 100 block of N. 5th Ave.  I identified one of the subjects to be Michael Prough.  Mr. Prough had bloodshot watery eyes and had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage upon his breath and person.  I asked Mr. Prough if he had been drinking alcohol and he stated "one or two shots".  I administered the HGN test on Mr. Prough and observed 6 clues.  I placed Mr. Prough in double locked handcuffs and advised him that he was under arrest for public intoxication.  I placed Mr. Prough in the back seat of my patrol vehicle and transported him to the Bryan County Jail without incident.  At the jail I was notified by staff that they found a small plastic water bottle with a brown liquid inside a hole in his jacket.  I checked the bottle and identified it as some type of alcoholic beverage.  I cited Mr. Prough for Minor in Possession for the bottle.

Possession of CDS

On November 16, 2008, at approximately 0055 hours, I, Sgt. Smarr observed a red Honda four door, began to exit the Boulder Motel.  When the Driver; later recognized to be Craige Stuck, saw me then stopped before entering Main Street.  I turned west from South 9th Ave. on West Main.  I proceeded west at approximately 25 MPH.  As I passed the red Honda, all three occupants watched me drive by.  I proceeded west to just west of North 11th Ave., and turned into the Briarwood Shopping Center.  I made a quick U-Turn and got back to Main Street.  I looked to North 9th Ave., across the parking lot of the Landmark Bank, and observed the red Honda traveling at a high speed northbound.  I sped up to North 10th and Evergreen Street and could not see the Red Honda.  I do not believe that the Honda could have stopped at the stop sign at Evergreen and North 9th Ave., at the speed that it was traveling.

I turned north onto North 9th Ave., and as I was passing the alley on the west side of the road, in the 200 block of North 9th Ave., I observed a vehicle parked in the alley with its lights turned off.  I turned west onto Beech Street from North 9th Ave., and then south onto North 10th Ave.  As I made the turn I saw the red Honda travel across North 10th Ave., without its lights on.  The Honda crossed North 10th Ave., and drove back into the alley on the west side of North 10th Ave.  I was able to catch up with the vehicle and as I did the headlights came on.  I activated my emergency lights and the vehicle stopped before entering North 11th Ave.  I ordered the occupants to raise theirs hands and I waited for Lt. Clark to arrive before making contact with the occupants.  The driver and front seat passenger were told to put their hands out of the open windows.

All three occupants were ordered from the car and placed in handcuffs because of the above listed events.  The front seat passenger; Bryce Risner, spoke with Lt. Clark, while I spoke with Mr. Stuck and the back seat passenger; Crystal Cain.  Officer Blackshear arrived to assist and I asked him to walk the alley and look for any items that may have been thrown from the car.

Officer Blackshear walked down the alley approximately twenty feet to the east of where the red Honda stopped and located the following; a prescription bottle wrapped with black electrical tape, a medium size zip it, containing, five white oval pills with the inscription, Watson 349, later identified as Hydrocodone, and one white oval pill with the inscription Seroquel.  Hydrocodone is a Schedule three Controlled Dangerous Substance.  Also found in the zip it was another zip it that was rolled up, it contained a crystal substance that field tested positive for Methamphetamine.  Officer Blackshear also found a glass pipe with white residue in it.  The items were found on the north side of the alley, in the grass.  None of the located items were wet, nor did they have frost on them like the grass they were lying in.

All three subjects were questioned after being read their Miranda rights.  Mr. Stuck stated that he understood his rights.  He replied when asked about the items; "What side were they found on"?  I told him both front windows were down and anyone could have thrown them from the car.  Mr. Stuck again replied, "What side were they found"?  I told Mr. Stuck that I knew that they came from his car, he replied, "Yeah, but what side....". He did not finish his statement.

Mr. Risner stated that he understood his rights.  He stated that Craige, Mr. Stuck, told him to lean back and Craige throw something from the car, out the passenger side window.  Mr. Risner did not know and could not see what was thrown from the vehicle.  He did say that he tried to get Mr. Stuck to stop when he was trying to avoid the police.  Mrs. Cain stated that she understood her rights but did not want to talk with me.

Mr. Stuck's vehicle was inventoried, and towed by Durant Auto Service.  The items found at the scene were placed in the evidence safe at the Durant Police Department and will be sent to the OSBI Lab for further testing and identification.  All three subjects were transported to the county jail in an upright seated position and book in without incident.

Untitled Offense

On November 13, 2008 at approximately 0009 hours, I, Sgt. Smarr observed a dark colored four door Oldsmobile leave 1102 Grand Ave.  The vehicle traveled approximately two blocks and stopped in the middle of the roadway just south of Grand Ave. and Dallas Street.  I activated my emergency lights and conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle.

On contact with the driver; Kory Carroll, I could smell the odor of burnt Marijuana coming from the vehicle.  I asked Mr. Carroll if he had been around anyone smoking Marijuana, and he stated that he had just left a residence where the occupants were smoking Marijuana.  He stated that he had dropped a co-worker; Ashle West, off at that residence.  When they started to smoke Marijuana he left.  I asked for and received consent to search Mr. Carroll and his vehicle.  I found nothing to led me to believe that any Marijuana had been in or smoked in Mr. Carroll's vehicle recently.  Once Mr. Carroll exited the vehicle, the odor of burnt Marijuana greatly decreased in inside the vehicle.  Mr. Carroll was released at the scene.

Capt. David Houser and I went to 1102 Grand Ave., as soon as we left the above mentioned traffic stop.  I knocked on the door of the residence and a female voice asked who it was, and I replied me.  The female voice then said come in.  When the door opened I could smell the odor of burnt Marijuana.  From the open door I could see a Bud Light can that had been made into a pipe with residue on it, on a table next to the recliner.  There was a small burnt, hand rolled cigarette on a table next to the couch where Ashle West was sitting.  A pack of Job brand rolling papers was on the coffee table in front of the recliner and a pack was on the floor near the couch where Ashle was sitting.

When Ashle saw me she yelled for Aaron West.  When Ashle got up from the couch to walk towards the back of the residence, I stepped in and asked her to be seated on the couch.  I stepped around the corner to the kitchen and asked Aaron to come into the living room.  I told Mr. and Mrs. West what I had seen in the living room and then asked if there was any more Marijuana in  the residence.  Mr. West stated that he did not know if there was or not.  Mrs. West stated that she did not know.  I asked Mr. and Mrs. West if I could search the residence for illegal substances, and Mr. West stated that he did not understand why we were in his house. I asked again and Mr. West stated we could.

During the search the only additional thing located was a sandwich size plastic baggy containing a green leafy substance under a movie on the table next to the recliner.  That substance was later field tested at the Durant Police Department and tested positive for the presence of THC.  All the above mentioned items were taken and placed into evidence at the Durant Police Department.  Mr. and Mrs. West were transported to the police department and questioned.

At the police department I reminded both subjects that they were still under their Miranda Rights.  When I spoke to Ashle, she stated that she had been smoking Marijuana for about five years.  She stated that she got the Marijuana from a friend.

I spoke with Aaron, he stated that he had been smoking Marijuana for about four years and that he got the Marijuana from a friend.

Both subjects were transported to the county jail and booked in without incident.
