[11/07/2008 03:30, JOHNP, 111] Phares 204 On Friday, 11/07/2008, at approximately 0225 hours, Ofc Phares initiated a traffic stop in the 1100 block of N Bledsoe.  Ofc Phares smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle when he made contact with the driver.  A search of the vehicle revealed a small baggie of marijuana and a marijuana pipe in the center console.  The driver was placed under arrest. The complainant advised he had caught three juveniles vandalizing his rent house at that location several weeks ago.  Unknown suspect(s) later punctured all four tires on his trailer parked at that location.  The complainant suspects the same juveniles that vandalized the rent house. A report for criminal mischief >=$1,500<$20K was completed.

[11/07/2008 14:18, TRENTP, 130] Painter 222 On 11-7-08 at 1330hrs, Sherman PD officers responded to the 300 block of S Travis in reference to debit card abuse.  The victim stated he had possession of his debit card on the night of 11-6-08 when he had a guest at his residence over night. On 11-7-08 when the victim woke, he found his debit card had been removed from his wallet and his house guest had left his residence.  The victim contacted his bank and had his debit card cancelled.  The case is being referred to Sherman CID. Officer Flores arrived and found that a vehicle had hit a telephone pole, severing it into two seperate pieces. The driver of the vehicle was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

[11/09/2008 01:03, ROBB, 116] Ballew 208 On 11-3-08, Officer Rob Ballew 208 was conducting a follow up investigation on a runaway child report filed on 11-1-08 by a resident in the 400 block of South Contemporary Drive. At 1702 hours on 11-3-08, Officer Ballew spoke with the boyfriend of the runaway child in the 200 block of Hilre Street. The suspect told Officer Ballew, as of Saturday 11-1-08 at 1500 hours, he knew the child was a runaway. The suspect failed to report the child`s location to her parents or the Sherman Police. The suspect was picked up by his mother from a trailer in the 2400 block of Texoma Parkway minutes before speaking with Officer Ballew. The suspect told Officer Ballew that the runaway child was not at the trailer on Texoma Parkway. Officer Ballew later located the runaway at the same trailer on Texoma Parkway. Officer Rob Ballew 208 was dispatched at 2154 hours and arrived at 2203 hours. The victim told Officer Ballew that she had been receiving threatening communications from the suspect. The victim showed Office Ballew several threatening notes left on the windshield of the victim`s car. The protective order indicated that the suspect was not to be within 200 yards of the victim`s residence. The victim`s car was parked approximately 11 yards from her rear door.
