All it took was the push of a button. Oklahoma's First Family struck the first three commemorative quarters for the Sooner State at the Denver Mint Wednesday.
The Oklahoma quarter is the first in 2008 in the 50 states quarter program.
It features the scissortail flycather, the state bird; with a field filled with Indian blanket flowers, the state flower.
The U.S. Mint expects to produce between 300 and 500 million Oklahoma quarters.
If you're waiting for one, you'll have to wait a little longer.
They're scheduled to go into circulation on January 28.
