Incident #263081
03/29/2006 Cpl. Randy Harmon was sent to the front door of the Justice Center in reference to some criminal mischief. Upon His arrival, Cpl. Harmon met with Bailiff Tom Turner of the 15 th District Court. Cpl. Harmon observed what appeared and smelled like human feces on the glass of the East door or front entrance. There was some paper like material stuck to the glass along with appeared to be a colostomy bag. There was a trail of some liquid from the door to a crack in the sidewalk, which appeared to be urine. At this time an investigator with the District Attorney’s office arrived and stated that he had worked late yesterday and the incident actually occurred between 5:30 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. Cpl. Harmon took photos and the items were removed and cleaned up by the janitorial service. Cpl. Harmon also was advised of a similar incident that occurred at the Old Courthouse at the west door. Lt. Hawley went to the courthouse and also took pictures. Cpl. Harmon also learned of another incident of like fashion on inside the courthouse on the door of Judge Blake’s courtroom. An investigation is continuing in this matter.
