JOHNSTON CO., OK---If you're having trouble receiving our CW or KTEN signal, it's because of power lines down in Wapanucka.

We've had several calls this evening with folks wondering why their KTEN signal went out--turns out a car accident in the Wapanucka area, that's in Johnston County resulted in a downed power line. That power line caused power outages at our KTEN transmitter up in Wapanucka as well. 

Johnston County Sheriff's office tells us that PEC, People's Electric Company, is actively working on getting the power back up and running. 

Also, no word of any details on the accident. We'll continue to follow up and hopefully have more information.
