H1N1 Clinic at Grayson County Health Department

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- Grayson County is set for its first H1N1 vaccine dispensing site. The health department has received its much needed shipment and and will now provide injectable H1N1 vaccines to at-risk groups. Deeda Payton reports.

Target groups includes pregnant women, persons who live with or provide care for infants younger than 6 months of age, health care personnel who have direct contact with patients or infectious material, children aged 6 months to 4 years, and adolescents aged 5 to 18 years who have medical conditions that put them at higher risk for influenza complications.

If you fit in one of these target groups, you can get an H1N1 shot at the Grayson County Health Department at 515 North Walnut in Sherman or at 205 North Houston Avenue in Denison. The clinic will be the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving from 5 to 8 p.m. There is no cost for the vaccine.
