SHERMAN, TX -- A Sherman man is stabbed in his sleep and his roommate is charged with the crime.

The incident happened late Wednesday night in the 1200 block of North Harrison in Sherman. Police say two men in their thirties were living together as roommates when one of them stabbed the other in his upper arm while he was sound asleep.

Police say 34-year-old Cayetano Sinaloa-Cevantez was intoxicated at the time. He was booked into the Grayson County Jail for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The victim is expected to be okay.
