Earthquake Reported In Stephens County

STEPHENS CO., OK - An earthquake shook parts of southeastern Oklahoma last night.

State geological experts say it struck about six miles northeast of Velma in Stephens County, but they've received reports of people in parts of Carter County saying they felt the ground shake. The quake had a magnitude of 3.0 and there was not any reported damage.

The Oklahoma Geological Survey Observatory encourages people to visit their website if you think you felt an earthquake and report it.
