Nov. 17. 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. OKLAHOMA CITY-SENIOR AWARENESS DAY - The Oklahoma County Sheriff's office, several senior service agencies and health care providers will hold a Senior Awareness Day to help keep seniors informed about safety and health issues.

Nov. 17. 8:30 a.m.-Noon OKLAHOMA CITY-ECONOMIC FORECAST - The Center for Applied Economic Research in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University will release its 2010 Oklahoma Economic Outlook report. A news conference is scheduled for noon. Cameras must be set by 11:30 a.m.

M. Davis Memorial Commission and the Insurance Department.

Nov. 17. 9:30 a.m. OKLAHOMA CITY-PARDON AND PAROLE BOARD - The Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board will meet, with the first action being a business meeting. The rest of the 2-day meeting will involve hearing pardon and parole requests from the various correction centers from around the state.

Nov. 17. 10 a.m. MUSKOGEE-BUREAU OF INDIAN AFFAIRS ANNOUNCEMENT - The BIA Indian Highway Safety Program and Office of Justice Services will have four new Breath Alcohol Testing mobile vehicles for use in three BIA law enforcement districts. National and local highway safety officials and police will holda media briefing to announce initiatives to save lives and prevent injuries in Indian Country.

Nov. 17. 2 p.m. TULSA-VETERANS' FREEDOM STATUE - Veterans Park will be the setting for a statue carved from a tree and dedicated to Tulsa's veterans and those in the service. The unveiling of the plaque and statue will take place with Mayor Kathy Taylor and Walt Helmerich hosting the dedication.
