LAWTON, Okla. (AP) - An Indiahoma man accused of beating a Cache couple to death now faces two counts of first-degree murder.
Court records show Mica A. Martinez also faces one count of assault with a dangerous weapon. He is being held at the Comanche County jail without bail.
Sheriff's deputies arrested Martinez Oct. 12 after finding him at the home of Carl and Martha Miller.
Authorities have alleged that Martinez went into the house, beat 64-year-old Carl Miller in the head with a rifle and then headed to a bedroom, where 55-year-old Martha Miller was struck in the face.
Martha Miller died Monday night at a Lawton hospital, and Carl Miller died Friday afternoon.
Prosecutors amended the charges to reflect Carl Miller's death.
