WAYNOKA, Okla. (AP) - A Freedom man has been killed in a single-vehicle crash on a county road in Woods County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 59-year-old Gary Leroy Murrow died in the accident near Waynoka about 7 p.m. Monday.
Troopers say Murrow was a passenger in a pickup truck that went off the road and rolled into a field. Investigators say Murrow wasn't wearing a seat belt and was thrown 25 feet from the pickup.
The driver was treated and released at a hospital in Alva.
