In Grayson County, at least six cities and five school districts elected mayors, council members, and school board members Saturday.

The biggest city in question and the biggest job was the race for Denison Mayor, where incumbent Robert Brady easily defeated two challengers.

In Southmayd, the incumbent also won, but by only one vote. Daniel Pepe beat challenger John Roman, 75-to-74.

In Van Alstyne, the mayor's race and two council seats were up for grabs, with no incumbents on the ballot.

In Howe, the top vote-getter in the school board race is the spokesman for the Sherman Police Department, Sergeant Bruce Dawsey.

Results began coming in just before 8pm Saturday. For a full list of Grayson County races, click here.
