Daily Report
April 17th 2009
1. Officers took a report c oncerning a lost wallet.
2. Officers arrested a 25-year old Rattan, OK man at a westside apartment complex for Public Intoxic ation and Disturbing the Peace.
April 18th 2009
1. Officers took a report a t a westside apartment complex concerning Assault with a Deadly Weapon. The 16-year old female victim alleged that a black male had produced a handgun and stated, "Go get your @5#&$ $@& momma". The victim advised that this action and statement put her in fear for her safety.
2. Officers took a Burglary /Vandalism report in the 1400 block of E. Duke St. The reporting party advised that a vandal or vandals apparently broke into a delivery truck , removed a fire extinguisher and set two log books on fire. The contents of the fire extinguisher were then used to spray the outside of several trucks.
April 19th 2009
1. Officers arrested a 47-year old Mt. Pleasant, TX man at an eastside retail store for Grand Larcen y and Knowingly Receiving Stolen Property. The charges stem from the man be ing observed by security personnel stealing a Computer and B lue Ray DVD Player. A subsequent search of the subject's vehicle turned up several more items that the man advised were stolen.
2. Officers took a Runaway report in the 900 block of N. 'H' St. concerning a 16-year old female.
3. Officers arrested an 18-year old Hugo man at a westside apartment complex for Domestic Assault and Battery by Strangulation. Officers were advised that t he 17-year old victim had not returned home at a time when her boyfriend thought she should and when she did arrive, was strangled by said boyfriend, severely bruising her neck. Officers filed charges on the victim's behalf.
4. Officers arrested a 20-y ear old Hugo man at an eastside apartment complex for Possession of Marijuana, Resisting Arrest, Disturbing the Peace and Using Abusive and Profane Language in a Public Place. The charges stem from the subject trying to gain entry into the residence of his child's mother. He was also served with a protective order concerning his child's mother.
